Toronto FC sign Jordan Perruzza to a new deal

Toronto FC announced today that the club has signed forward Jordan Perruzza to a new deal through 2024 with a 2025 option.

“Jordan is a talented young striker who gained valuable experience with San Antonio FC and Toronto FC II last year,” said Toronto FC Head Coach and Sporting Director Bob Bradley. “We hope he is ready to make a big step in 2022.”

Perruzza, 21, has made seven appearances and registered one goal in all competitions during the 2021 season (MLS regular season, Canadian Championship and Concacaf Champions League). He made his first team debut on April 14, 2021, when he came off the bench against Club Leon, and his MLS debut against CF Montreal on April 17, 2021.

During the 2021 season, he went on a short loan to San Antonio FC of the USL Championship, where he made six appearances and scored one goal. Perruzza also went on a short loan spell to San Antonio FC during the 2020 season, where he made six appearances and scored three goals.

Prior to joining TFC’s first team, Perruzza spent two seasons with Toronto FC II, where he made 28 appearances with 17 goals and two assists. During the 2019 season, he led the club in goals scored with 15 and was second in goals scored in USL League One.
