Toronto FC fell on Canada Day, dropping a 1-0 result to Real Salt Lake on Saturday night.

Terry Dunfield took charge for his first match as TFC manager since being named interim head coach on June 26.

The former Canadian International handed 16-year-old Lazar Stefanovic his first-team debut, entering the match 57th minute for Shane O'Neill.

After a scoreless 90 minutes, the visitors snatched all three points in the dying embers through Anderson Julio who finished from close range.

TFC face a quick turnaround as they return to action on Tuesday, July 4 when they visit Orlando City SC.
