Canada Soccer announced today that the 2020 Canadian Championship Final featuring Toronto FC and Forge FC – which was postponed due to the global pandemic – is set to take place at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, Ontario, on June 4.

Toronto FC qualified for the Canadian Championship Final by winning a round-robin competition amongst Canadian MLS clubs in 2020. Due to COVID-19 regulations in 2020, the Final had to be postponed and Forge FC would gain home-field advantage for the final against Toronto FC to be played at a later date. The 2020 Canadian champion will not earn a spot in the 2022 Concacaf Champions League.
