Eighty of Canada's bright young 15-year old prospects will take part in the second annual Canada Soccer U-15 Showcase from 3-6 May in Montréal, Québec. The six-match, round-robin 2016 showcase features a Canadian select squad and the academy/reserve squads from Toronto FC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, and Impact Montréal FC.
The showcase is scheduled in conjunction with the upcoming Canada Soccer Technical Committee, which runs 1-3 May in Montréal. Technical leaders from provinces and territories from across Canada will be on hand to watch the showcase of Canada's bright young stars.
"This is a great opportunity to observe and interact with eighty of the top young, identified talents in our country," said Tony Fonseca, Canada Soccer's Technical Director. "This week also engages all our technical leaders in further discussion around player development with a view of achieving the best possible processes.”
Every squad will play each other once, with each squad comprising of 20 young players born in 2001. Each match will be 80 minutes long, with matches played on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The Canada Soccer Pathway works in collaboration with our provincial and territory partners as well as the professional clubs and academies. For Canada’s elite players, the program emphasizes player development on the pathway to representing Canada’s Men’s National Team in international soccer.
