Toronto FC II announced today that the club has signed goalkeeper Baj Maan to an MLS NEXT Pro contract. Maan will be added to the club’s roster pending league and federation approval.
“Baj is a hardworking professional who has been great to work with and has pushed everyone to be better since he's been with us,” said Toronto FC II Goalkeeper Coach David Monsalve. “He brings professional experience to the group and we will be looking at him to be a leader that continues to raise the bar daily."
Maan, 21, most recently played for Forge FC of the Canadian Premier League (CPL), where he registered three clean sheets and made 17 saves in seven appearances across two seasons (2020, 2021). Prior to the CPL, he played collegiate soccer at Northern Kentucky University in 2019, registering three clean sheets and making 70 saves in 17 appearances for the Norse. The Brampton, Ontario native originally joined the Sigma FC Academy in 2015 and represented the club across all youth levels including League1 Ontario.
