Toronto FC II announced that the club has re-signed midfielder Matthew Srbely to a USL contract. He will join the club’s roster pending league and federation approval.
Srbely, 21, spent the past three seasons with Toronto FC II, where he made 51 appearances and registered seven goals and nine assists. He made his debut for Toronto FC II when he came on as a substitute against Bethlehem Steel on August 13, 2017. He earned his first professional start on August 19 against Richmond Kickers.
In 2017, Srbely represented Toronto FC III at the 69th Viareggio Cup, appearing in all three group stage matches. He joined the Toronto FC Academy in January 2013.
