MLS NEXT Pro and Toronto FC II announced today the complete regular season schedule for the upcoming 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season. Starting March 9, the Young Reds will play a total of 28 matches as the league enters its fourth year.
TFC II will kick off their eleventh season in club history on the road against FC Cincinnati 2 on Sunday, March 9 at Northern Kentucky University. Following four road games to open the campaign, the Young Reds will begin a four-game home slate by hosting Carolina Core FC on Friday, April 18 in the club’s 2025 Home Opener at York Lions Stadium in Toronto, Ontario. The club will conclude regular season play with a visit to face New York Red Bulls II at Montclair State University as part of MLS NEXT Pro Decision Day on Sunday, October 5.
Through 2025, Toronto FC II will compete in 28 regular season matches (14 home and 14 away) across a 30-week span. TFC II will play a total of 12 Friday matches, nine on Sundays, three each on Wednesday and Thursday and one on a Saturday. The club will play their home matches at York Lions Stadium, located on the campus of York University in Toronto, Ontario, for the fourth consecutive year. At home, the Young Reds will play 10 matches on Fridays, three on Sundays and one match on a Thursday.
Within MLS NEXT Pro’s Eastern Conference, Toronto FC II will compete in the Northeast Division, alongside Chicago Fire FC II, FC Cincinnati 2, Columbus Crew 2, New England Revolution II, New York City FC II, New York Red Bulls II and Philadelphia Union II.
The majority of TFC II matches will be available to watch live on MLSNEXTPro.com and the remainder will stream live on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app. In addition, all Decision Day matches, playoff matches and MLS NEXT Pro Cup will be available to watch live on MLS Season Pass.
