Toronto FC II fell at the hands of Bethlehem Steel FC on Saturday afternoon at Goodman Stadium in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
The hosts controlled the game from the get-go scoring in the 2nd minute as Faris broke in and slipped one past Caleb Patterson-Sewell.
The Reds pushed back in the latter stages of the half but their efforts went unrewarded.
Robert Boskovic made a great last-ditch tackle to prevent a promising Bethlehem look right before the end of the half.
Right after the restart, Michee Ngalina finished off a pass from Brenden Aaronson to double the hosts lead.
Steel FC then earned a penalty that James Chambers converted.
Canadian Chris Nanco added a fourth for Bethlehem off the bench. Bethlehem took the final 4-0.
Toronto FC II is back in action on Wednesday as they play host to the Ottawa Fury FC. Kickoff from Lamport is set for 6:00 PM.
