The penultimate game of the USL season is here as Toronto FC II travels to Nashville for the first time to take on Nashville SC in a Tuesday night affair.
Toronto FC II comes in off a 3-1 defeat to Louisville in their home finale. The game saw TFC Academy product Jordan Perruzza score his first USL goal in the defeat.
Nashville SC is in a must-win situation as they currently sit in 7th place in the Eastern conference just two points clear of Ottawa. Nashville has turned it on as of late going undefeated in their last four games with wins over both Richmond and Atlanta. A win on Tuesday will secure the side a playoff spot.
The two teams last met in July in Rochester where Toronto FC II picked up their first win of the season with a 2-0 win over Nashville. Luca Uccello and Matt Srbely scored for the Reds in the victory.
Two players for the Reds to key in on are Brandon Allen and Matt LaGrassa. Allen joined Nashville midseason and leads the team with eight goals. Lagrassa has made team-high 31 appearances for Nashville, contributing two goals and one assist thus far.
