Toronto FC announced today that the club has signed goalkeeper Quentin Westberg to a new contract. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Q had a great first season with us and was integral in helping us win the Eastern Conference and advance to MLS Cup,” said Toronto FC General Manager Ali Curtis. “We’re very excited that we were able to reach agreement on a new contract.”
Westberg, 33, originally signed with Toronto FC last February after arriving from French club, AJ Auxerre. Westberg made 32 combined starts (regular season and playoffs) for Toronto FC, compiling a record of 12-10-9 with four clean sheets.
