Toronto FC capped off the 2019 MLS regular season in style, picking up all three points on Decision Day with the help of two Team of the Week performances.
Goalkeeper Quentin Westberg and defender Omar Gonzalez led the way to help propel the Reds past Columbus Crew SC and into fourth place to secure a home match in the 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs.
Gonzalez has been a steadying force along the backline since joining the Reds in July, posting a 7-2-6 record since his debut match on July 13, a 2-0 win in Montreal. The U.S. international won a match-high seven aerial duels against Columbus and cut out several scoring opportunities for the visitors.
Westberg picked up his first clean sheet since Gonzalez made his debut in Montreal, making two saves including a key denial against Gyasi Zardes in the first half.
