The Reds are rolling, and the gaffer and skipper have been leading the charge.
Head coach Greg Vanney and captain Michael Bradley have both been named to the Week 28 MLS Team of the Week as Toronto FC have extended their unbeaten streak to nine matches across all competitions.
During the stretch, the 2017 MLS Coach of the Year has had to navigate through injuries and international call-ups depleting the side. Despite the absences, Vanney has kept the ship steady as the Reds have vaulted up the Eastern Conference table into fourth place which would ensure a home playoff match at BMO Field.
In the midfield, Bradley continues to act as the metronome that keeps TFC ticking. The U.S. international leads MLS with the most average passes per game (79.5) and was instrumental in both the 1-1 draw at New York City FC and the 3-2 win vs. Colorado Rapids. Bradley led all players in tackles and interceptions in the Bronx and led all players in completed passes at BMO Field against Colorado.
