On a night of high drama, a pair of Reds stepped up to lead the way to a come-from-behind victory at BMO Field.
Their contributions did not go unnoticed as both Alejandro Pozuelo and Jordan Hamilton were selected to the Week 8 MLS Team of the Week.
Toronto's #10 got things started for Toronto FC in the 28th minute, pulling off a brilliant piece of individual skill to pull the Reds level--a goal currently up for the MLS Goal of the Week. Pozuelo would complete his brace a mere 110 seconds later, slamming his left-footed shot past Vito Mannone for the 2-1 lead.
Starting the match on the bench, Hamilton made the most of his 17-minute appearance in front of the home crowd. The Homegrown forward took just four minutes to find the back of the net, calmly finishing off a feed from Jonathan Osorio to level the match. Two minutes later, Hamilton would nod home the winning goal on a move started by none other than Pozuelo, marking his first-ever MLS brace.
