Toronto FC II midfielder Luca Uccello has been nominated for the 2017 Canada Soccer U-20 Male Player of the Year. 

Uccello, 20, represented Canada at this years U-20 CONCACAF Championship. The midfielder made 15 appearances in the USL this season tallying three goals and an assist. 

The TFC Academy product could join fellow players Ashtone Morgan and Doneil Henry in earning the honour. Uccello was also nominated for the award last year. 

Uccello is joined by TFC III defender Rocco Romeo who has been nominated for the Canada Soccer U-17 Male Player of the Year award. 

Romeo was nominated alongside academy players Steffen Yeates, Terique Mohammed, and Jordan Faria for the award. All four of the players represented Canada at the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Championship.
