The Young Reds fell to the Richmond Kickers on Saturday night by a final score of 2-1.

TFC II jumped out to the early lead courtesy of a Jordan Hamilton strike. It was the forward’s fourth goal with TFC II this season. Ryan Telfer picked up his third assist of the season on the goal.

However, the lead was short lived as the Kickers marched down the field and equalized within 60 seconds on a Sunny Jane goal.

Early into the second half, the Kickers took the lead on a goal from Matt Bolduc. Despite the Young Reds best efforts, they were unable to find an equalizer and the Kickers took the match 2-1.

The Young Reds are back in action next weekend as they travel to Charlotte to take on the Independence. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM on Saturday.
