Daniel Lovitz was selected by New York City FC in the 4th round of Wednesday’s MLS Expansion Draft.
The Wyndmoor, PA. native was drafted in the second round of the 2014 MLS SuperDraft.
Lovitz went on to make 18 appearances for the Reds, starting in five games. The Elon University alum registered two assists, providing pace and skill on the wing.
Toronto FC would like to wish Daniel all the best going forward.
TFC added defender Mark Bloom to their protected list as a result of Lovitz’s selection.
No other TFC player was selected in the draft.
