Toronto FC Academy forward Stefan Vukovic has hauled in the award for Canadian Soccer League Top Goalscorer in the First Division. Vukovic scored 18 goals in CSL.
“Stefan has done remarkably well this season to finish top scorer on the men’s CSL (first division) this year,” remarked Academy U-18 coach Danny Dichio. “He is the first teenager and TFC Academy player to ever achieve this.”

Aside from his exploits at the CSL, Vukovic also scored two goals for the Reds in the MLS Reserve League.
“I still feel he could have scored even more goals this year, but that’s just me being super critical of him,” Dichio joked.
“He still has a lot of developing to do, but he has a keen eye for goal and his work rate is fantastic.”
Dichio looked forward to seeing more of Vukovic, saying that “he has been a privilege to train and I am very excited to see what he can achieve further with Toronto FC.”
