November was a long time ago. For three TFC Academy teams, it must seem like a lifetime ago.
The TFC U-18/19, U-16/17, and U-15 teams have all been waiting with great anticipation for their USSDA seasons to pick back up. The three teams will resume their seasons this Saturday with a matchup against Michigan side Vardar on Saturday.
All three teams currently sit in a playoff spot in their respective age groups. The U-18/19 team finished 2018 with a 10-4-1 record and sit in 2nd place in the Mid-America Division. The team boasts an impressive + 33 goal differential.
The U-16/17s had a great 2018 going 13-1-1 and sit in top spot in their division six points clear of second place. The team boasts an age group best 61 goals for.
Finally, the TFC U-15 side has yet to be beaten in the USSDA. The team went 11-0-1 in 2018 with 69 goals for and just 7 against. They currently sit 13 points ahead of the second-place side.
All three teams will get back to work with their sights set on securing their playoff spots. The USSDA playoffs begin in June, culminating in the Championships in mid-July.
