Update: 5/30/16

Sebastian Giovinco was forced to exit Saturday's game versus the New York Red Bulls due to an adductor injury in the 22nd minute. 

Giovinco leads the Reds in scoring this season with eight goals, five assists and 75 shots on goal. 

Head coach Greg Vanney addressed Giovinco's status following the game. 

"I would say it doesn't look like anything significant in terms of the amount of time [he will miss]," said Vanney. "We'll see as we assess over the next 24 hours. I think he felt it coming on, and was able to probably catch himself at an appropriate time."

The Reds don't return to MLS regular season action until June 18 against the Los Angeles Galaxy at BMO Field.
