Darrin MacLeod - Drake Bulldogs
Toronto FC Academy goalkeeper Darrin MacLeod and the Drake Bulldogs capped off an impressive season by being named the 2015 Missouri Valley Conference Champions following a 1-0 victory in the finals against SIUE. It was the team’s second MVC championship in the program’s history. MacLeod was named to the 13-member All-Tournament team after recording three consecutive shutouts on route to the MVC title.
Drake will now take on Kentucky on November 19th in the 2015 NCAA College Cup.
Ryan James - Bowling Green University
The Falcons (9-9-1) suffered a 4-0 loss against 10th ranked University of Akron in their final match of the season.
On a more positive note, Toronto FC Academy’s Ryan James was named to the 2015 All-Mid-American Conference Second Team for the second straight season. James had four goals and five assists this season for the Falcons.
Eli Roubos - Florida Gulf Coast University
Eli Roubos and FGCU were eliminated in the semi-finals of the Atlantic Sun Conference Men’s Soccer Championship after suffering a 4-3 loss to USC Upstate in overtime.
Although falling short in the championship round, Roubos helped the Eagles record their sixth straight Atlantic Sun regular season title after going 7-4-3 on the season.
Kevon Black and Oliver Spring - Duke University
Duke saw their 2015 come to the end after losing 2-1 to the University of Louisville in the first round of the ACC Men’s Soccer Championship. Kevon Black, Oliver Spring and the Blue Devils finished the season with an overall record of 10-7-2.
