The Toronto FC Academy U-17 (2000) team is set to compete in the inaugural International Youth Soccer Cup being held in Vaughan this August. The Reds are joined in the tournament by Italian giants Juventus F.C. and local sides the Woodbridge Strikers and Vaughan Soccer Club.
The tournament is being hosted by the Toronto Azzurri Soccer Club with matches being played at the Ontario Soccer Centre August 18th and 20th.
The Reds will face off against Vaughan on August the 18th at 6:45 PM. The winner of the match will advance to the finals to take on the winner of Juventus and Woodbridge.
All net proceeds from the tournament will be partially put towards the Azzurri's “Kids at Risk” program.
