It was a busy weekend for the Kia Toronto FC Academy.

In addition to having teams in Italy, France, and the U.S. for tournaments, the Academy also had two teams participate in the Umbro Canada Futsal Cup that took place at Canlan Sportsplex in Mississauga.

It was the first time the Academy participated in a futsal tournament.

The Kia TFC Academy had a team comprised of 2003 and 2004 born athletes in the U-14 category, and a team comprised of 2002 and 2003 born athletes in the U-15 category.
