Toronto FC and Major League Soccer announced today the full 34-match schedule for the 2024 MLS regular season.
Toronto will open their 18th MLS campaign with back-to-back away games when the Reds face FC Cincinnati on Sunday, February 25 (2:30 p.m. ET) at TQL Stadium, and New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, March 3 (2:00 p.m.). The Club’s 2024 Home Opener will take place on Saturday, March 9 (2:00 p.m. ET), when TFC will host Charlotte FC at BMO Field. Toronto will conclude the MLS regular season on Saturday, October 5, against Inter Miami at BMO Field.
During the 2024 season, the Reds will play 25 matches on Saturdays, seven on Wednesdays and two on Sundays. Toronto FC’s home schedule features 13 games on Saturdays and four on Wednesdays.
Toronto FC will play six (6) cross-conference matches against Western Conference opponents in 2024, three (3) at home and three (3) away. The Reds will host Sporting Kansas City (Saturday, March 30), FC Dallas (Saturday, May 4) and Austin FC’s first-ever visit to BMO Field (Saturday, September 14). Toronto will travel to meet their Canadian rival, the Vancouver Whitecaps (Saturday, April 6), Houston Dynamo (Saturday, August 24) and the Colorado Rapids (Saturday, September 21).
Additionally, Toronto FC will square off against CF Montreal twice during the 2024 campaign. Toronto will host ’401 Derby” rivals on Saturday, May 18, and then face Montreal on the road on Saturday, July 20 at Saputo Stadium.
Leagues Cup, the World Cup-style club competition featuring all LIGA MX and Major League Soccer teams, is set to return for its 2024 edition. Kicking off Friday, July 26 with the tournament final on Sunday, August 25, 2024, the official Concacaf tournament will maintain its three berths to Concacaf Champions Cup, with the Leagues Cup champion qualifying directly to the Round of 16.
