Toronto FC and Charlotte FC battled to a 2-2 draw on Saturday night at BMO Field.

The wind on the lakeshore made for quite the assist when Italian international Federico Bernardeschi scored an "olimpico" off a corner kick in sixth minute to the delight of the home crowd.

The Reds would strike again from a set piece situation just before the stroke of halftime. Brandon Servania served in a ball towards the near post where captain Michael Bradley managed to get a flick on the effort to double the TFC advantage.

The second half saw visiting Charlotte storm back with two goals of their own, striking in the 51st and 70th minutes to secure a point.

Toronto FC returns to action on April 8 when they take on Nashville SC on the road.
