Toronto FC goalkeeper Tomás Romero has been called up to represent the El Salvador National Team in a pair of Concacaf Nations League matches during the September international window. Romero and La Selecta will kick off their Nations League campaign on Thursday, September 7, when they face Guatemala at Estadio Mateo Flores in Guatemala City at 10:10 p.m. ET before hosting Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday, September 10, at Estadio Mágico González in San Salvador at 10:10 p.m. ET.

Romero, 22, has earned eight caps for the El Salvador National Team since making his debut with the senior team in a friendly against Ecuador on November 5, 2021.
