Midfielder Jonathan Osorio and defender Chris Mavinga were called up to their national teams for the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Osorio, 29, will represent the Canada Men's National Team (CANMNT) in the final fixtures as part of the Concacaf Qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar. Canada will face Costa Rica at Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica on March 24, followed by a home match against Jamaica at BMO Field on Sunday, March 27. Canada will wrap up their three-game slate at Estadio Rommel FernĂ¡ndez on March 30 against Panama. Canada sits atop the table with 25 points and is two points away from booking a place in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.
Mavinga, 30, will be representing the DR Congo National Football team as they face Morocco on March 25 and March 29 in the third round of the CAF World Cup Qualifiers. Mavinga has made five appearances with DR Congo, his most recent cap came in a friendly match on June 5 against Tunisia.
