Toronto FC III dropped its League 1 Ontario match to FC London 3-1 on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds jumped out to the early lead in the 4th minute on a goal from Cyrus Rollocks.
The hosts equalized on a 26th-minute penalty kick converted by Elvir Gigolaj.
London gained the lead on a 35th-minute strike from Randy Ribeiro and Gigolaj added an insurance marker in the second half. Despite TFC III’s best effort, London held on for the 3-1 victory.
TFC III is now 9-4-2 on the season, sitting in 4th place in the Men’s West division. Next up for TFC III is a match against Toronto Skillz FC this Saturday. Kickoff at the Kia Training Ground is set for 1:00 PM.
