Toronto FC II returns to action on Thursday as they travel to Rochester to take on Bethlehem Steel FC. This is the fourth and final game for TFC II in Rochester this season.
The Young Reds are looking to build off a 1-0 victory over the Richmond Kickers just four days earlier. TFC II has won two of its last three games including a 2-0 victory over Nashville SC in Rochester.
Bethlehem comes into the match fresh off a 2-1 defeat to the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Sunday. Overall, Bethlehem is 9-10-6 on the season and sit in 7th place in the Eastern Conference just two points clear of the final playoff spot. In their last five games Bethlehem is 3-2-0.
This will be the first meeting between the clubs this season. All-time TFC II is 2-3-0 against Bethlehem. TFC II went winless against Bethlehem last season, dropping all three meetings.
Two players to keep an eye out for on Bethlehem are Chris Nanco and Brandon Aubrey. Nanco is a native of Toronto and has made 21 appearances for Bethlehem this season. The forward has scored three goals and added four assists.
Aubrey is a name that should be familiar with TFC fans as he was the Reds 2017 first round SuperDraft pick. Brandon spent the entire season with TFC II making 21 appearances for the club before heading to Bethlehem at the beginning of 2018. Aubrey has made 22 appearances this season, all starts.
TFC II’s lineup could shuffle a little bit for this game as the first team plays the final of the Canadian Championship on Wednesday night.
Kickoff from Rochester is set for 7:00 PM, you can catch all the action live right here on TFC2.ca
