The Young Reds hit the road for a midweek date with Indy Eleven at the mega Lucas Oil Stadium.
TFC II comes in off a difficult 2-0 defeat at the hands of Bethlehem Steel FC last week. Overall, the Young Reds are 2-3-0 on their last five games including wins over Nashville and Richmond.
Indy is undefeated in their last four games and 2-1-2 in their last five. Overall the team is 10-7-6 on the season and currently, the side sits above the playoff line in sixth place with 36 points. However, they are just one point clear of the line.
The two teams last met in June in Rochester. It was just the second game for TFC II with Michael Rabasca at the helm. Indy took the game by a final score of 3-1. Ayo Akinola scored a beautiful goal for the Reds on the night.
Two players to watch on Indy are Jack McInerney and Ayoze Garcia. McInerney leads the team in scoring with six goals. The forward joined Indy Eleven this season after a 7 year MLS career that saw him made 175 appearances scoring 43 times.
Ayoze, a left back, is not far behind McInerney with four goals scored. The Spaniard also leads the team with 5 assists.
