It’s a busy month for the Kia Toronto FC Academy.
U-17 Team
The U-17’s are currently in Frisco, Texas, for the 2016 Generation adidas Cup.
The team lost its first match of the tournament 2-1 to the U-17 Mexican national team, but bounced back in their second match, defeating FC Dallas 2-0.
The Young Reds take on Valencia CF to close out the group stages on Tuesday, March 22.
U-12 Team
Joining the U-17’s in Frisco will be the U-12’s, as they’ll be participating in the U-12 age group of the Generation adidas Cup on March 24-26.
The U-12’s take on Orlando City FC, LAFC, and Spanish side RC Celta de Vigo in the group stage.
U-14 and U-15 Teams
The U-14’s and U-15 Kia TFC Academy teams are Europe bound for two different international tournaments this week.
The U-14’s will be playing in the Tournoi Sans Frontiere in Sens, France, and will be taking on French sides Lille OSC, AS Saint-Etienne, and FC Metz in the group stage.
Other international clubs in the tournament include Liverpool FC, Juventus de Turin, FC Copenhague, and Servette de Geneve.
The U-15’s are in Prodeno, Italy to compete in the Trofeo Gallini.
There they will play the Montenegro national team and Italian clubs Fontanafredda and Rosa Bassano in the group stage. Prior to that, the team will travel to Umag, Croatia, for a friendly match.
