Toronto FC defender Nick Hagglund has been diagnosed with a torn MCL in his left knee. The injury occurred in the second half of Saturday’s 3-2 victory over Minnesota United FC. Hagglund is expected to be out of the line-up for 8-12 weeks.

Forward Sebastian Giovinco has been diagnosed with a quad strain. Giovinco left Saturday’s match just before half-time. He is expected to be out of the line-up for 3 weeks.
