The Toronto FC Academy U17 team continued their torrid start to their GA Cup qualifying campaign with an impressive 4-2 victory over the Sporting Kansas City Academy on Friday night.
The Reds scored four first-half goals and did not look back on route to their fourth victory of the tournament. Kunle Dada-Luke broke through the Sporting backline barely five minutes in and finished with his left foot. Jordan Faria finished a cross from Luca Petrasso to make it 2-0. Petrasso scored the third goal of the half, off a nice pass from Ayo Akinola. Akinola would add the fourth on a header off a lofted ball from Terique Mohammed. Sporting KC scored two goals in the second half to finish the match 4-2.
