Manchester - PhilB94's FUT Champions Cup pursuit ended on Saturday morning as TFC's representative fell to a fellow eMLS player Chris "Diddy" Holly.

Chris jumped out to an early 3-0 lead on some questionable goalkeeping by Phil's keeper and a soft PK call. Phil did well to pull a goal back to leave the first leg down 3-1. 

The beginning of the second leg was all Phil as he poured the pressure on looking to equal the match. He pulled within one before Diddy answered back. Phil then scored another to make it 3-4 on aggregate. 

Phil had a great opportunity to level the match late in the first half but his Icon Ronaldo was stopped by Chris' David de Gea. Chris squeaked out another goal to regain his two-goal advantage. With Phil in all-out attack mode, Holly added another pair to take the match by a final score of 8-3. 

Overall Phil finished with a 3-4 record which ranks him in the 40s out of the 64 players competing in his console bracket. Phil will have two more shots at qualifying for the Global Series playoffs. You can keep up with Phil by following him on Instagram and Twitter.
