Toronto FC will take on Club Atlético Independiente de la Chorrera (Club Atletico Independiente (PAN)) in a two-game aggregate series in the 2019 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League (SCCL) Round of 16. The first leg is set for Tuesday, February 19 in La Chorrera, Panama with kick-off at 8:00 p.m. ET. The return leg will be played at BMO Field on Tuesday, February 26 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Toronto FC qualified for the SCCL by winning the 2018 Canadian Championship and will be competing in the tournament for a second consecutive season. Last year, TFC advanced to the final before losing on penalties to Chivas de Guadalajara of Mexico’s Liga MX. The winner of the SCCL will represent Concacaf in the FIFA Club World Cup.
