The aggregate score winner will join three other nations and advance to the 2023/24 Concacaf Nations League Final. A series win will also qualify Canada for the CONMEBOL Copa América USA 2024™.
“I’m really excited about the upcoming matches and what they can lead our team to,” said Mauro Biello, Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team Interim Head Coach. “Our mission is to make it to the Concacaf Final and also to qualify for next year’s Copa America. We know that these upcoming two matches will be difficult against a solid opponent, in difficult conditions, so that is why we decided on an experienced and seasoned group of players who are used to high-pressure games.”
Canada will begin the series away in Kingston, Jamaica on Friday 17 November (19.00 ET / 16.00 PT) at the National Stadium before travelling back home to Toronto for their second match on Tuesday 21 November (19.30 ET / 16.30 PT) at BMO Field.

Canada holds an all-time record of 10 wins, seven draws and six losses against Jamaica. The last time the two nations faced off was on 3 March 2022, with the 4:0 win qualifying Canada for its first men’s FIFA World Cup in 36 years.

Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinals
After the completion of Group Stage play for League A, which took place in September and October, the two top teams from each group: Panama and Trinidad and Tobago (Group A) and Jamaica and Honduras (Group B), advanced to the Quarterfinals, joining the four top-ranked League A nations (based on the Concacaf Rankings of March 2023) that received a bye: Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, and the United States.
To determine the Quarterfinal pairings the four pre-seeded nations were ranked according to the Concacaf Rankings and the group winners and runners-up based on the number of points they accumulated during the Group Stage.
2023/24 Concacaf Nations League Finals
The Concacaf Nations League Finals’ third edition is scheduled to take place in March 2024. The final four, between League A’s Quarterfinal winners, includes semifinals, to be played on Thursday, March 21, 2024, followed by a Third Place Match and Final on Sunday, March 24.
