Following a second consecutive shutout, goalkeeper Alex Bono and midfielder Raheem Edwards were named to the MLS Team of the Week bench for Week 5 of the 2017 MLS Season.

Bono entered the match in the 40th minute, relieving the injured Clint Irwin, and made three saves to keep Sporting Kansas City off the board.

Edwards, a Toronto native, completed 31 passes in the opposition's half while sparking Toronto's best chances of the match.
