TORONTO – The final day of the 2018 BMO Champions Cup wrapped up the U-13 Division and U-15 Division playing for the trophy.
U-13 Division Final
Final Score: Pro Stars Academy 1 – 0 Toronto FC Academy (2005)
Oskar Kozubal’s 70th minute goal lifted Pro Stars to a 1-0 victory over Toronto FC Academy (2005) in the U-13 final.
U-15 Division Final
Final Score: Toronto FC Academy 6 – Rush Canada Blue
Five different players scored as Toronto FC Academy (2003) defeated Rush Canada Blue 6-0 in the U-15 final. Kosi Thompson opened the scoring for TFC in the 4th minute. Mauro Lulli scored in the 25th minute and Juan Sanches scored in the 38’ minute before Thompson scored his second goal to close out the first half. In the second half, Christian Zeppieri extended TFC’s lead with a right footed shot into the left corner in the 53rd minute and an own goal provided the final margin of victory for the Young Reds.
