Toronto FC goalkeeper Alex Bono earns a spot in the Week 21 MLS Team of the Week. The selection marks Bono's second TOTW honour of the 2022 campaign.
Despite a narrow 1-0 loss to CF Montreal on Saturday, Bono produced five saves to keep the Reds in the match. His first highlight-worthy stop came in the 5th minute, sprawling to deny Montreal forward Kei Kamara with an incredible goal-line save.
The Syracuse University alumnus followed up with another quality save in the 26th minute. Montreal midfielder Matko Miljevic looked to open the scoring with a quality strike, but Bono managed to get fingertips on the effort to push it wide.
