Charity Shield Update

The Toronto FC Academy U-14 (2003) team is the 2017 U-15 OPDL Charity Shield champions!

The Reds knocked off Richmond Hill 5-0 in the final to take home the trophy. Kosi Thompson, Denilson Clamp, Jahkeele Marshall-Ruty x2 and Ifeoluwa Adenuga had the goals in the victory.

The Toronto FC Academy U-15 (2002) team was also in the Charity Shield Final on Sunday. The Reds fell 1-1 (4-3) on penalty kicks to the Vaughan SC U-16 team.

TFC took the lead in the first half as Jacen Russell-Rowe scored the opener before Vaughan equalized late in the second half.

Congratulations to both teams for their efforts on Sunday and for a great 2017 OPDL season.
