Academy players receive League1 Ontario Honours
League1 Ontario held its annual Award Luncheon on Sunday afternoon and a handful of Toronto FC III and TFC Academy graduates were on hand to accept their awards.
Forward Cyrus Rollocks (1998) was voted the League1 Ontario Young Player of the Year earlier last week and was presented with his award on Sunday. Rollocks scored 17 goals in 17 games for the Reds. Rollocks was also named a League1 Ontario Second Team All-Star.
Joining Rollocks on the Second Team All-Star roster is defender Rocco Romeo (2000). Romeo played 15 games for TFC III this season scoring one goal. Romeo signed his first professional contract with Toronto FC in September.
Midfielder Luca Petrasso (2000) was named a League1 Ontario Third Team All-Star. Petrasso made 14 appearances for TFC III and contributed seven goals.
Academy to host BMO Champions Cup
The Toronto FC Academy is set to host a first of its kind tournament this week as clubs from the OPDL, SAAC and CAF come together for the four-day BMO Champions Cup.

OSL Players Honoured
Three players from the Toronto FC Academy U-16 (2001) team were honoured with awards for their performances in the Ontario Soccer League this season.
Midfielder Antonio Carlini was named the Provincial Under 21 Central Most Valuable Player.
Goalkeepers Nicholas Christoffersen and Rimi Olatunji were both awarded the Provincial Under 21 Central Goalkeeper of the Year award. Congratulations to all three players.
