Two Academy Graduates Score their first goals for TFC
It was a banner week for the Academy as two of its graduates bagged their first goals with the first team.
The team’s longest tenured player Ashtone Morgan scored his first goal for the club in his 99th MLS appearance on Wednesday against New York City FC. Morgan originally signed from the Academy in March of 2011 and has made 129 total appearances for the club.

Then on Saturday, Jay Chapman scored his first goal for the first team in their 1-1 draw with the Colorado Rapids. Chapman appeared to have scored his first in Wednesday’s game but was denied as he was controversially ruled to be offside.
