They did it again.
Toronto FC’s Academy completed the double on Saturday, beating CS Longueuil in the first ever Inter-Provincial Cup.
The Junior Reds led 4-0 going into the second leg. There, they held on defensively to secure a goalless draw and the win on aggregate.
"It's hard to score against a team stacked up ten behind the ball," said head coach Michael Stefano following the game. "We would have liked to score a few tonight for the great crowd here."
"I'm proud of the boys. They worked hard all season long. (Getting a result) in twenty-five out of twenty-six games is not easy."
TFCA finishes the season with two pieces of silverware after winning League 1. They finish with a record of 14-7-1.
Job well done lads!
