The 2021 season is beginning to take shape as the latest edition of the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League is set to get underway in early April.
The region's most prestigious club competition completed the Round of 16 draw in Miami on Wednesday night, pitting teams from around the region in a head-to-head matchup for supremacy.
While 15 of the 16 teams have already been confirmed, the final club to enter the fray will be determined by the winner of the 2020 Canadian Championship Final between Forge FC and Toronto FC. As a result of Wednesday's draw, whichever club hoists the Voyageurs Cup will take on Liga MX champions Club León.
Toronto FC has competed in the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League on six occasions, most recently reaching the final in 2018.
