The 2016 Talent Identification Program (TIP) took place on August 23rd and 25th. This year’s TIP focused on top-level 2005 (pictured above) and 2006 (below) born athletes. In total 97 players from 24 different clubs/academies participated in the two-day event.
TIP provides a platform from which Kia Toronto FC Academy scouts, club technical directors, and regional technical directors can actively identify and recommend top club prospects for screening by the Academy coaching staff.
