Toronto FC announced Tuesday that the club has signed goalkeeper Mark Pais.

Pais, 25, most recently signed with TFC’s United Soccer League (USL) affiliate Toronto FC II on March 7, 2017. He has appeared and started in two matches for the Young Reds recording one clean sheet and earning a record of 1-0-1 (W/D/L). Prior to joining TFC II, he spent the past two seasons (2015 and 2016) with Saint Louis FC of the USL where he appeared in a total of 33 matches. During his college career, he split time between the University of Tulsa and Saint Louis University. With the Saint Louis Billikens, he appeared in 19 matches starting in 15 recording five clean sheets. He then transferred to the University of Tulsa and appeared in 21 career matches registering eight clean sheets for the Golden Hurricane.
